sing with ecc
Etobicoke Centennial Choir (ECC) welcomes choristers, audience members and volunteers from all walks of life, backgrounds, identities and experiences. We offer an opportunity to learn, celebrate and perform a diverse repertoire, ranging from classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions and popular music. Choral music fosters joy and a shared camaraderie when individuals join voices together in song.
Discover the joys and rewards of singing in a community choir!
Prospective choristers are invited to attend our Open Rehearsal, held in early September, for the opportunity to sing with the choir, meet the conductor and learn more about us.
The ability to read music is required and prior choral experience is recommended to meet the rehearsal and repertoire demands.
Following the Open Rehearsal, interested singers complete a vocal audition with the Music Director to assess their vocal abilities and assign voice parts.
Interested singers are welcome to attend any rehearsal date, to register in advance for the next Open Rehearsal or for more information about joining ECC.
Our rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:45 pm at Humber Valley United Church in Etobicoke.
ECC concerts and rehearsals are held in accessible facilities.
Please complete this form to register in advance for the Open Rehearsal and/or for more information.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our Board of Directors is a dedicated group of volunteers that works collaboratively to manage, guide and develop the choir, in consultation with the Artistic Director. Meetings are held monthly, currently on a virtual basis.
We are open to bringing on new board members from the community who would be interested in helping to support a community arts organization.
