Welcome to our 2024 – 2025 choral concert season, featuring classic masterpieces to celebrate the holidays, a modern jazz mass, and choral arrangements of traditional Indian music. ECC believes that choral music fosters joy, harmony and goodwill, as individuals join their voices as one to create beautiful music. The 2024 - 2025 Concert Season Pass offers you the opportunity to experience all three captivating performances by the Etobicoke Centennial Choir. As a season pass holder, you’ll enjoy $5 off each of the three concerts. From the timeless beauty of holiday classics to the vibrant rhythms of a modern jazz mass, and the rich cultural tapestry of choral arrangements inspired by traditional Indian music, this season promises a journey through a wide array of choral traditions. Concert 1, "Baroque Noël"
Experience the festive season as it was celebrated in Europe in the late 17 century, with Buxtehude’s Magnificat and Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s Messe de Minuit pour Noël, both featuring orchestral accompaniment. Enjoy a selection of timeless holiday songs, and sing along to some of your favourite carols.

Concert 2, "Mass in Blue"
This concert program blends choral music with jazz rhythms and pure blues harmonies. Mass in Blue, by Will Todd, pulls together the driving energy of jazz and the ethereality of the divine. A combo of piano, drums, bass and alto saxophone will accompany the choir. Delight, also, in selections from Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington and George Shearing.

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.
Concert 3, "Echoes of India"
Join us for a journey through Indian classical music, accompanied by sitar, tabla and harmonium. Flautist Hasheel Lodhia leads us through the rhythms and echoes of South Asia. New choral music by conductor Henry Renglich and Governor General’s award-winning author (and chorister) Sarah Henstra will be premièred.
